IT ALL STARTED WITH A SWIPE.

(No, not THAT kind of swipe!!)

Lauren and Rob spent the better part of five years (!!) working in the same office building in Hollywood, but somehow never ran into each other — at least that they know of. They probably rode in elevators together, parked next to each other, even ordered drinks from the same bartender on the first floor...all without ever connecting.

Finally, one day in 2018, it happened: a mutual friend introduced them over drinks, and Rob was happy to SWIPE his card to pick up the tab. Cha-chang. For Rob, there was excitement and chemistry right away. For Lauren, there was....not??

But they soon realized, they had more in common than she initially thought. They both went to Catholic schools, they both were English majors, and they both thought Lauren has a great sense of humor.

As they spent more time together, they began to feel like they had found their other half. Rob was amazed by Lauren's empathy and grace; for the first time, he felt at home with another person. Lauren discovered that while life with Rob is never "easy", it's always interesting, and she couldn't wait to see where they could go together.

Over the past 7 years, Lauren and Rob have journeyed through jobs, homes, vacations, and much more, making plenty of memories along the way. In 2022, they welcomed Ambrosius into their family (also known as the best decision Rob ever made), and then moved into their first house less than a year ago.

They couldn't be more excited to bring their families together to celebrate the next chapter in their life together, and look forward to seeing everyone there!
